Provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which is underpinned by aims, values and purpose which develops the whole person. It develops the children’s knowledge and skills across the entire curriculum and develops a deep understanding whilst instilling good learning attitudes. There is clear progression in subject knowledge and skills
Ensure all children use key reading, communication and mathematical skills to enable them to access the whole curriculum
Ensure knowledge and skills are built on sequentially from Nursery to Year 6 across all subject areas
Ensure that teaching across all phases and subjects is consistent with the Teaching, Learning and Assessment policy and best practice
Instil resilience with a love of learning
Ensure children are very well placed to succeed in the next stage of their learning
Understand and celebrate the diversity of communities
Equip children to have a positive impact on their community and understand local, national and global issues.
Provide trips and experiences to ensure all children have the opportunity to have first-hand experiences

Progress in all subjects, across all phases is at least good
